Day - 1 : Dibrugrah Airport - Sivasagar

Meet and greet our representative at Dibrugrah Airport and drive to Sivasagar – Historical city of Assam. On reaching Sivasagar check in to your hotel. After freshen up take your lunch and then visit RANG GHAR and TALATAL GHAR. Evening free for leisure. Over night stay at Sivasagar. RANG GHAR: One of oldest surviving amphitheaters in Asia, originally, the two storied building was built by Ahom Ruler Swargadeo Pramatta Singha to be used by Ahom Kings and nobles for witnessing sports like buffalo fights, bird fight, egg fights, etc. also Rang Ghar was used as a logo for the 33rd National Games held in Assam in 2007. TALATAL GHAR: Famous for housing two secret tunnels. It was said to be a stronghold of the Ahoms during wars. An interesting fact about this stunning monument is it has been built with purely organic materials – bricks and organic cement ( a mixture of rice powder and duck eggs). What is truly notable is that monument has been standing tall and strong for centuries. The Palace was strategically built to combat enemy attacks and has to secret underground tunnels one of which is 16 kilometers long, these tunnels were used as escape routes during enemy attacks.

Day - 2 : Sivasagar – Full Day Operation

Next day morning after having your breakfast at hotel visit Shiva Dol – it’s a group of structures comprising tree hindu temple of Sivadol, Vishnudol,and Devi dol and also it is believed to be the tallest Shiva temple in India. . After worship visit KARENG GHAR and CHARAIDEW MAIDAM. After having lunch at Sivasagar town enjoy boating at Jaisagar Pukhuri–It is considered one of the largest man made pond in India. Evening you can explore and buy some traditional stuff at Sivasagar Town. Coming back to your hotel. Over night, stay at Sivasagar. KARENG GHAR: This is the one of best examples of Ahom architecture. The entire architecture of this place was constructed with wood and stone. CHARAIDEW MAIDAM: It’s commonly known as pyramids of Assam was the original capital of the Ahom kings built by ChaolungSukhapa the founder of Ahom dynasty. It contains sacred burial grounds of Ahom kings and queens and is also the place of ancestral Gods of Ahoms. 42 tombs of Ahom king and qeens at Charaidew hillocks are comparable to the Pyramids of Egypt.

Day - 3 : Sivasagar – Dibrugrah ( Tour End )

Last day after having breakfast drive to Dibrugrah on reaching Dibrugrah having Assamese traditional lunch from our site. After having lunch our driver drop Dibrugrah Airport to catch your flight with carry sweet memories.
